Who we are

We are a group of students who are learning what it means to be a God follower.  We know that the best way to do this is to do this together.  So that is what we do. We hang out together, worship together, and celebrate together.  If you are interested in learning more about us, email josh at josh.knierim@gmail.com.

 

What we do

We want to create an environment where we can build community and learn about God.  On Sunday mornings we meet to talk about the Bible and what it teaches us.  

 

Here's a quick peak at our typical schedule:

Sunday AM Life Groups: Sunday mornings, 9:00am-10:15am
On Sunday mornings our 7th through 12th graders get together to talk about the Bible and learn how we can apply it to our lives.  Our Life Groups are separated out by grade and gender.

 

The Experience: Wednesday nights, 6:30pm-8:00pm
The Experience is our large group time where we seek to experience God through worship, opening God's word, and going deeper in our faith. At the Experience we also break into small groups where we are able to take the lessons further and see how we can apply them in our lives.

 

Encounters: Once a month on Sunday nights
Encounters are opportunities for our students to come and just hang out to get to know one another better and bring new students.  Encounters are held in various places such as member homes, here at the church, or at venues around the city.  Middle School Encounters are held on the 3rd Sunday of the month.  High School Encounters are held on the 4th Sunday of the month.

 

Student Leadership Team: Monday nights, 7:00pm-8:30pm
The Student Leadership Team is a group of student leaders who help make the student ministry work.  Students apply to work in different areas of the student ministry and also agree to experience some in-depth leadership training.

BBC Wednesday Night Inclement Weather Schedule

If Sumner County schools are closed, or if they dismiss early due to weather on a Wednesday, BBC Wednesday night activities will be canceled for that night.
