Sunday Mornings at Bluegrass

Preschool/Kindergarteners:

 

9:00-10:15- Small Group

Preschoolers are divided by age as of September 30 and placed with devoted and loving leaders. There is a weekly Bible story that is introduced through creative and developmentally appropriate activities. We use the “First Look” curriculum. Our goal is for every preschooler to go to Kindergarten knowing three core concepts: God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus Wants to be my Friend Forever.”

 10:15-11:30- Extended Teacher Care

Preschoolers stay in their rooms for a time of play with a rotating team of volunteers. Snack is provided. They also view a short video that reinforces the Bible lesson. 4 and 5 year olds experience Music Time during this hour as well.

 

1st-4th graders:  

 9:00-9:45- PLUG IN . room 226 (girls) room 229 (boys)

As kids arrive, they have the opportunity to connect with their friends and adult leaders. Leaders are instructed to play with kids, ask about their week, and encourage them to build relationships with other kids. The Bible story is introduced, and there is a large group game/activity to kick off the morning. 

 9:45-10:20- POWER UP . room 234

Kids go with their Plug-In leaders to the Power Up room. Power Up is a worship time where kids hear about the Bible, interact through drama, and worship with fun kid-friendly music.

 10:30-11:30- CATCH ON 

Kids experience small group Bible Study led by loving and kid-focused leaders. The Bible Story from Plug-In and Power-Up is reinforced and examined on a deeper level. 

 

5^th and 6^th graders:

 9:00-10:15- ROUTE 56 . room 222

Small group Bible Study where tradition meets innovation. Each week includes fellowship, Biblical teaching and application, and fun activities!

 10:30-11:30-Community Worship

Our Route 56 group participates in adult worship. They will be walked to the worship center by their leaders and may choose to worship together or with their parents.
