NEXT is an afterschool program for 2nd-8th graders which began January 2012 at BBC. We are changing our format in the fall 2012 to 4 days a week. We will pick up from Ellis Middle School, Indian Lake Elementary, Nannie Berry Elementary and George A. Whitten Elementary.

Our goal is to empower your student through qualified volunteers and enrichment activities that are tailored to their interests and abilities. NEXT will include a snack, hang time, homework help, huddle time and opportunities to add on enrichment activities. We believe that when kids feel good about their abilities and know that someone is rooting for them, they are more successful academically. The after school hours are key for kids- we want to partner with working parents to provide a quality program of well-supervised activities that stimulate new interests, encourage creativity and build self-confidence while providing parents with peace of mind.
