Q: What exactly will my kid do at NEXT?

A: A typical afternoon will look like this:
Snacks/ hang out time in a supervised and encouraging environment. (30 minutes)
Devotion time led by our ministry team (about 10-15 minutes)
Tutoring/homework help facilitated by qualified volunteers. (at least 30 minutes, longer as needed)
Track times- after homework is completed

Q: How does my kid get to NEXT from school?

A: BBC provides transportation from Nannie Berry and Ellis to our facility. We accept students from any school, but transportation is provided exclusively from these schools at this time.

Q: How much does NEXT cost?

A: Fees are very affordable and based on a sliding scale.

*This is based on a family of four. Individual pay schedules can be determined for larger families or families with multiple children enrolled.  We want this program to be affordable to all families. In order to qualify for reduced costs, you will need to submit a copy of all income statements for a month- (pay stubs, government assistance, child support, etc.) This information will be confidential and seen only by the Director.

Q: How do I sign up?

A: Click here to be taken to the registration page and get started!

Q: Why only Mondays

A: This is a brand-new program. We are starting with one day a week but are open to the possibility of future expansion.

Q: Who will be in charge of my kid?

A: NEXT is a cooperative effort of the children and student ministries at BBC. Volunteers will be background checked and submit to an interview process.

Q: I want to get involved. How do I help

A: Contact our church office at 824-0001 to volunteer for NEXT. Wendy Swaby is our volunteer coordinator for this program.
